Always had plans for a porch and a deck under the upper deck. Found a spiral slide on Facebook marketplace, but it required a 5’ deck not the 7’ that I have. I stopped by habitat for humanity store looking for spindles for the porch and found a straight slide for $35. We now have a second deck level and two more slides. Porch and deck are done, porch roof is framed.

Post a build. I plan to add one in a couple years. I picked out some gear on amazon while back but never figured out how to slow it down.

In for this one. Already have the zip line but installing in the playset will indeed require a braking system.

I'm thinking of either a brake block with bungee cord or a big compression spring with a brake block
