Default 2018 Live Pig Hunts

So i know many on here pig hunt and thought we should try a thread where anyone could do a live hunt. One thread would be easier to follow than if everyone makes their own thread for every hunt.
So if anyone is pig hunting and wants to do a live hunt take us along here.I will probably do some live hunts and hopefully some others participate so we can make this thread a success.

Great idea. I mainly hunt spot and stalk so it's not easy to do live hunts but I'll give her a whirl.

Beat me to it DB. I've been looking for another year long active thread to follow. I was planning on hunting this past week and starting something like this, but I haven't seen pigs in the past week or so on cameras at the house. Good luck to everyone and I hope this thread is at least half as entertaining as the Skinny and FND thread was last year!

Good luck hogdude and hogdarlin, if y'all are still at it. Went and checked cameras and thought about sitting tonight, but I came back to the house and got the side by side and put out some more corn. Not sure if this is the same boar that disappeared right before bow season, or another. If it's the same, someone has fed him well.
He's been coming in twice a night the past few nights.

4 different groups of coyotes around me. I havn't been able to call any in, they are just smarter than me. I think I'll have to get serious and set snares in the morning. Way to many.

No pigs sightings, no pig sounds, no pig smells.

There is delicious ice cream at home...

Iím about to swap out this box with a bigger one so me and Ray Ray can bow hunt together. We just finished the box this afternoon...well minus the tin I need to slap up top. This box back here is a one man deal. Iíve got another spot for this one back here once the paint ďmeldsĒ a bit on the new one and I drag it back here.

Everything seems to be against me hunting this evening. Heading to the stand shortly, unless something else falls apart! Service is poor at best behind the pond.

I went out on my first spot and stalk of 2018.
Missed twice. Ugh. One was a chip shot on a spotted boar. Have no idea what i did wrong but was low and right. Then i shot right under a sow at about 45 yards. Got in a gully and the rest of the sounder walked right by me. Shot 2 at less than 10 yards.
This was my first attempt to use my go pro to video instead of my phone and it was a complete failure.

I'm in. Barely got my bow pulled up and a hog started squealing across the road (south ugh). Got my bow holder set and started hearing rustling. Been in the same spot for about 10 minutes. Think it's an armadillo. They're on the hit list too. Got several coons that may take an arrow if I get a shot.

Thanks guys. Checked the camera this afternoon and he didn't show up until 12:22 last night. He's been coming in earlier, and then again around that time. I was out putting out corn late yesterday evening and may have thrown him off. Went to take my bow light off of the Rock last night and put it on the Z3. Hit the pressure switch, and nothing. Traced down the broken wire and went to the shop to get my soldering iron. Plugged it in, and nothing. Ran late feeding animals this evening and went to get the small 4 wheeler to ride to the stand. 4 flat tires! Lol, wasn't looking like I was gonna make it.

Pretty sure I just got busted! Couldn't tell what it was. It came up behind me and stood for a little while. I heard it take off a splash in the creek and then run through my hot wire fence (not working). It never snorted or blew or anything, but it was pretty good sized.
