Iíve done that before also. I donít even understand why this is part of this discussion.

I know what its like to have a prized deer poached. It is the same feeling you get when you get anything else stolen that you worked hard to obtain. It just plain sucks. But.....posting this is going to draw out peoples opinions, sarcasm and thoughts....its a chat board....someones stupid remarks may be something you had not thought about and could lead to you getting the jerk and closure...

PS. Maybe try offering Bitcoins as a reward!

I understand what youíre saying, but I still donít understand why it happens. Donít get me wrong, suggesting I find the body isnít a stupid idea and itís something I intend to do, but its not going to help solve the problem.

Man. These lil nancys and their knitting circle are unbearable. Except for our good ribbing on the college football thread I dont see why these guys act this way.
Im sure this post will get their miss me jeans all in a wad and they will be here shortly.
Anyway, sorry with the rant and good luck in your search.

I didn't read every post so maybe someone already said this, but you know these antlers will end up in someones shop. I would get a pic in every taxidermy shop that i could. No taxidermist will pass up the reward.

Is it too late to send a pic Round to taxidermists asking have you seen this buck. Surely even if it's not in the shop a buck like that would stick in their memory.

My deer farming mate in Australia has a real bad time with this stuff, probably loses 3-5 fallow bucks a year. Rarely gets a conviction. Theft of stock in my view, no different to cattle rustling

That buck should have been easy to find if it was a poaching incident. Someone has seen that set of antlers.

forget the GW. if you know who it is, hire a pi to follow him until he gets a drug charge, or a dui or three, or a charge for whatever illegal activity he is sure to be doing.

i would make sure it rains every time he goes outside if at all possible. id do it legally and never get my hands dirty.

the deer is dead. you just need to collect your pound of flesh as payment. then word is sure to get out that pouchin' that coonazz place is bad karma.

You know there is a time and place for jacking with a guy. When a guy asks for help isn't the time to e a richard head. The ones giving this guy a hard time are just flat wrong and immature. Shame on your parents for doing a poor job raising you.

Man this really sucks and I feel for you. I just can not even begin to comprehend how some people thing stealing from other people is acceptable. This sort of stuff gets me fired up every time. Good hardworking people put themselves in a position to have something nice only for some jerk off to come and steal it.

Jim, were you able to find the location of the kill? Any blood or guts? More clues?

Have you posted pics of the poacher in the local hanging out places, convenience stores, etc?
