Default Millmans new ranch (long term project)

After six months of touch and go negotiations Millman is the new owner of an 1800+ acre ranch near Sonora Texas. This property is an absolute deer mecca. It has great water, great cover and an abundance of food. At first glance it looks like the deer density is good. We should know more about that in a few weeks. We put cameras out this weekend and they will hopefully tell the story on deer numbers.
Millman, myself, Elkaholic and Brett C will be hunting this property.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the threads by StanR and a few others on their property improvements so I am going to do a long term DYI thread on the improvements we make to the ranch.

It started this weekend with moving some of our stuff off of our lease in San Angelo.
Moved a trailer in and had it set in place.
Set up nine feeders and a few cameras.

Future plans:
Deck for the front of the trailer
Outdoor patio / kitchen
Game cleaning station
Walk in cooler

I will try to update this thread after each trip.

Good deal...I'll be following the progression of y'all's new place.
I hate seeing you guys leave the San Angelo area but wish y'all the very best on the new place. Sounds like a very target rich environment.

Congrats on the new hunting ground!!!!

You are a better man then I if you can hold off on checking the cameras for your first time. Good luck with the septic system. I'm sure there is a way to do it. Looking forward to seeing some more pictures.

Adkins septic service 325-387-3154.
He did some service years ago for us. Adkins also installs new septic systems. It's not cheap, probably around $7,500 for a new system in that area.

Seen more B & C rocks then I knew existed!

With all the feeder and camera issues there just isn't much to report on quality wise just yet. Hoping it is a case of new feeders, bad cameras, to much natural forage, etc.....

Work in progress for sure.
