Default Show your water tank systems

Looking at making water troughs in several places with the big totes. Needing to see the best way to run the float system. Trough will likely be a plastic 55 gallon drum cut in half.

Unless you are close enough to refill the tank on a regularly the smaller the water trough the less evaporation.

I just bought the small horse waterer from TSC with a built in/protected float.

This is our tanks. We run gutters to them. 2 tanks, 1 for showers and toilet. The other for wildlife. We have a float valve with a small reservoir, with a small hole. Trying to find picture of it.
