Default Your favorite concealed carry pistol

So, my license came in yesterday and I have been thinking a lot about what and how I'm going to carry. I currently have a little .380 pocket gun and an S&W SD9. The SD9 is a little bit big for concealing and the .380 is a bit small in caliber and round capacity. Just wondering if there are better options for CC guns. I know I probably just need to go try a bunch, but until then, I'm looking for recommendations of what your favorite concealed pistol is.

Pictures would be nice too.

Thanks in advance.

Glock 26/27, or 19/23. I have got to where I carry my 23 more than anything.

Personally I carry the S&W shield in the .40 cal and I love it. The pistol isn't too "blocky" or too big. I won't say it's the best gun to carry but will say it's my favorite and the one I am most comfortable with, and IMO that's what's important.

Had a Shield and it's a great gun to carry and shoot. But I'm now carrying a sig P290RS or a P250sc when I want some more rounds on board. I just prefer a hammer on my carry guns and they're both good DAO pistols.

Glock 19. Carry it in all types of clothing. With a good belt and holster you can conceal almost any pistol

Glock 19 here. Although I can say I got a smoking deal recently on a Ruger LC9 that I have been carrying the crap out of lately. It works good for me because I wear gym shorts often when not at work, it's an easy pocket carry gun!

I bet I'm the only one that carries a M&P shield in 9mm and I don't really like it. i like the feel of it and its comfortable to wear but I hate the trigger on it and don't really like how it shoots. (thats just my opinion though) it seems like a reliable gun. I know people that carry Springfield XDS and one that carries a Glock 43 and I like those two guns much better. just too bad Im a poor college kid that cant afford one haha.

Ruger sr9c, the 10 rd mag is short enough to conceal well but handles like a larger pistol, and concealing the 17rd mag isn't too hard either. If it weren't for the capacity and the fact I'm in houston, itd be my sp101 4" in .357

It depends on how I'm dressed, for the most part I carry Glock 23. Warm weather and shorts of if I am just running to the store then I carry a Ruger SP 101. But I have been known to carry a 4" model 29 under my vest loaded with 310 grain cast bullets.

AR-15. Actually this is a question that I have been answering for over 40 years.
You have to find the weapon that fits you and YOU are comfortable with.
I carry a 380 I know how it shoots and I know its limit.

I was carrying a PC Shield in .40 until a few days ago. Prior to that I carried an XDs in .45 for two years. I carry day in day out, no matter what I'm doing. I usually carry IWB in an N82 Tactical under a Tshirt. A few days ago I ejected the magazine from my Shield, with great difficulty, and the magazine catch stayed depressed. Not only that, the slide was VERY hard to pull back to eject the round in the chamber. After soaking in CLP for three days the magazine catch and the slide seem to be working properly, but it's still going back to S&W tomorrow. The gun was bought in April. I carried the XDs two years in the same way and the same places and never had a problem. Don't construe this as running S&W down, because IMO they make some fine firearms. Maybe the tolerances are a little tighter ? I don't know, but I do know I was carrying a $350 chunk of metal expecting it to preserve my life if needed. I don't know if I can carry it with as much confidence when it's returned. We'll see.

S&W 642 for me with .38+P rounds. I wear cargo shorts frequently and it fits perfectly in the pocket with a pocket holster. It fits well in jeans too. I am surprised at the low number of wheel guns represented here.

Would like to carry my full size 1911. Not usually an option. Shield most of the time, Officers model sometimes. If it ain't comfortable, you won't carry it. Would rather have a 9mm Shield than nothing.
