    Cottonseed in protein feeders

I looked up other threads but didnt specifically see this anywhere. I know that most use the V-wire for your cottonseed stations. But, do any of you use your protein feeders for cottonseed? Im thinking about filling my feeders half protein and half cottonseed. Any pro's or con's would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I don't think cottonseed will flow down your tubes. It will clump together and hold in an 8" square opening in my tote frames. I doubt it falls down a 4" tube. Stuff is very clumpy

There is a mill that sells bags of cottonseed with smashed up corn. Its not as lumpy and ends up being around $6.00 dollars for 50 pounds.

The cotton seed will bridge across itself and not fall into the feeder tubes or plate.....
