2018 Texas Deer Rule Changes

TPWD is looking to change a handful of things related to deer hunting, including changing the end of the deer season. Now is the time to voice your opinion before it goes to a vote and does or doesn't get approved.

The three deer hunting changes include the extension of the season in the North Zone, buck only 9 day mule deer season in Lynn County, and expansion of the CWD containment zone.

I like the smack limit from 2 to 3. Bigger slots on a couple home lakes and moving a week of dove till January.

Are they considering the use of "air bows" during archery season?, I didn't think so initially but the way that is worded on the public comment page it seems they would consider them "archery tackle"
