Hope for the best, prepare for the worst (east Texas lease addition)

Saturday morning me and my son leave early headed for the lease. Hoping to do a little trimming and fill the feeder and then playtime. I brought all the tools preparing for the worst but was hoping for the best.

First on the list of things I wasn’t prepared for was a giant limb that was struck by lightning I’m guessing and landed in the middle of my food plot area. It’s way bigger than the pictures show. And my feeder is buried in there too.

So what took hours and hours and I swear I was about to die from the heat and humidity I got 80% of it done. If bow season started tomorrow I could climb up in the tree and hunt.

This after hours of chainsawing and dragging limbs off. I took a pallet, hooked it to my 4wheeler and was hauling off 10" thick 4' long hickory chunks....

I literally drink every water bottles in the cooler yesterday morning / early afternoon and still managed to put the boy on some fish
