Thanks for the input everyone. Looks like I need to try them all out and see what feels best for me.

Xpedition Xcentric for me. No sacrifices made whatsoever.

Just be sure you shoot an Elite Energy 32 or 35 when looking. Best bow I've had so far. You'll find what fits you best. Lots of great bows out there.

Shoot as many as you can. Then get a bowtech

My vote is for elite, Mathews, Hoyt, or a bowtech. Any of those and you can't go wrong and x2 on archery talk if you know what you want.

best thing to do is go to a few different shops and shoot all the bows within your price range to see what feels best for you. what other people like shooting might not feel right for when you shoot it. also figure out if you want a speed or forgiveness. some argue that you give up forgiveness for speed. its all in what you personally like.

I shot the Hoyt Nitrium 30 and the Mathews Chill R and even though they felt good they were no where near as good as my Bowtech Prodigy or Xpedition Xcentric. However, this was based off of my opinion and what felt good to me. Your best bet is to go and try some of these brands at your local shop and see which one feels good to you. No matter what anyone of us tells you at the end of the day, it will come down to your decision based on shooting different bows.
