I truly believe that the two worst inventions in history are the flathead screwdriver and the weed eater head! I think they were put on this earth by Satan himself. There's no need to even go into detail about the flathead screwdriver. But the weed eater head.....for those of us that still mow our own yard...holy moly! I'm a mechanically inclined fella but these suckers will test every thread of your Christianity. Ok so I am a plenty impatient 40+ y/o but for crying out loud this is 2018. And I own a Stihl. Is this seriously the best we can do?? Sunday afternoon vent session concluded.

My old stihl was easy to wind. You just stick string in each hole and turned knob to wiND it up. Recently bought a new stihl and it is a pain in the *** to wind up. I don't know why they changed there design.Comment

The new Echo bump feed head is pretty awesome, no more disassembling and then trying to feed it through the holes without the whole thing unraveling. Don’t even have to take the head off to feed new string.
Second, thank your lucky stars you haven’t dealt with a Polaris pool cleaner. Truly the worst piece of crap ever to be invented.

Echoing the echo head here. Its great, you feed in an 8 ft piece half way then just wind it up. My dad has the same thing but failed to read the instructions and was cussing it up a storm until i showed him the light.Comment
