Dang all this heat my pool is 90 degrees. What's the best way to cool it down?

Get the water in the air at night time.

Be happy you have a huge hot tub and relax in it?

            Build it in the shade.

Actually, going with a light colored plaster is about all that can be done.

Pray for rain or sprinkler in pool at night. Expect it to lower it about 5 degrees.

Yep. The local pool here in Georgtown uses some kind of tripod sprayer at night to cool it down.

It actually is under a lot of trees. I curse them when leaves fall or when all the oak pollen is falling. Otherwise it makes it nice that I can swim at 5pm in full shade.

Yea been thinking of rednecking something for it but may look on Amazon to see what I can find.

What about the waterfall. I could program it to run overnight. It's not a big one but would get some water falling and aerating the pool plus surface movement to cool it down. Would running it an hour a night help or do I need to run it all night?

Get a submersible pump, run it through a Yeti cooler, and voila! You just joined the polar bear club.

Go buy a sump pump and a piece of pvc long enough to be about 6” above the water. Leave on all night.

This is my waterfall. Will running it daily for an hour or two help? Maybe something like run from 5-7am for example?

                            Not much if any.

When I say “in the air”...
