It's related to red deer but about 60-80 lbs heavier

So Tod and I went to the range and did some shooting.
I put a new scope on my muzzleloader and needed to sight it in. After a few shots I got it close at 25 yards and started shooting at 100 yards. Then I realized that my scope base was loose. So I had to take my scope off and tighten the bases and then stick the scope back on. Then I took a couple more shots.

My first shot after tightening the scope was right ( near the #2)
So I adjusted the sight and shot again.
Center bull dead on.
One more shot was touching the center bull shot!

I'm done! Couldn't get any better than that.
Shot my AR some and rang the 12x12 metal gong with open sights at 100. So it was a good day overall. The deer are in trouble if I take this muzzleloader out.

Heck go to America Shooting Center once you qualify at 300 yard you can shoot out to 600yards

I've been qualified for years. It's kind of east to do so. Shoot 2 moa (6 inches) at 300 with 5 shots

All this talk about muzzle loaders, I think I'll go shoot my side lock Lyman tomorrow afternoon it's only got peep sights on it.

Tks. I'm not much of a gun guy, but I've got Tod as a mentor and that's a huge help.
That dude has forgot more about guns than I've ever known.
A guy at the range said to down load the Nikon app and it would tell me what the ranges are on the BDC. That was helpful. I took a shot at 200 and hit the target a bit high. Had we had a couple more minutes, I'd have taken a few more shots at 200 and got it dialed in.
Maybe I'll get another chance in a few weeks.
