The call you describe is indicative of cowbird...

But looks solid black, so I will add a vote to the brewers blackbird Id. They have a call that kinda sounds like the higher pitch of a water droplet.

That was my guess but rarely do you see just a single...farmdog just loves them!!

Back to the bird, did it have a square looking tail when it flew ? Looks square but it’s more like a triangle or tent.

Back to the birds, the grackle has a bluish hue ti it’s head in the sun. Cowbirds have a brownish hue. Cow birds are slightly smaller. And I think the grackle has a light colored eye, the cow bird a dark colored eye.

What Kind of Bird Is This?

It was 100% not a cowbird.


I was today years old that I learned a cow bird wasn’t a white bird that stands on a cows back.
