      Tundra makes the best v8!!
Its a chain driven overhead cam motor.
      Hemi is an ok motor
5.0 ford is durable just lacks testicular fortitude after driving a tundra

Chevy ls motors. 5.3, 6.0. How many off road rigs and hot rods do you see with Toyota and Ford engines swapped into them?

If they are so great people would use them.

I had great luck with my 5.3. It went well over 270,000 before I sold it. It's a tough engine to beat. Especially the older ones that dont shut down cylinders for fuel efficiency.

I would drive a Chevy if Toyota didn't make the Tundra

IMO GMC 6.0 is one tough mother, the 5.3 is decent also ! Fords 6.2 and 5.0 are pretty stable power plants
I really want to like the dodge 6.4 and 5.7 hemi but the wrapper they come in is stigmatized

I’m a Tundra guy and the CrewMax bed is a no go but there is plenty of room in the extended cab and it comes with full size bed!!

The 5.7 Hemi is the best V8.

Only problem it’s in a Dodge Ram (and I own one)

I have 2007 with 150000 plus and as strong as ever.

Huge fan of the GM 5.3

Owned 3 GM trucks and suvs with total miles of 475+. Very dependable and a great everyday/anything V8.

RAM engines have been good fun for many friends and coworkers, but everything else seems to break and require repair. Seats, window motors/switches, wipers, brackets, lock mechanisms, latches, ect.

I'm now at 90k miles on my '14 Ford EB in a F-150. It's got more HP and torque than those older GM 5.3, but if your ego requires to hear something impressive every time you turn the key, it's not for you. If you like to fly from 30mph to whatever, it is.

My 2004 Silverado 6.0 has 350,000 plus. Still my daily driver. Still drive it daily on a 140 mile round trip commute.
