    Hill Country Steak Marinade

Here is a steak marinade that is sure to impress family and friends. It will season approximately eight 12 ounce steaks.

Half a bottle of Corona (more at your own discretion)
    1 cup Worcestershire sauce
    2 tbs soy sauce
    1 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs Montreal Steak seasoning (found at HEB or Wal Mart)
    1 tbs lemon pepper
    2 tbs lemon juice
    2 tsp garlic salt
1 tbs meat tenderizer (be sure and get the kind with no MSG added)
    2 tsp sage
1 tbs coarse ground black pepper (if available)

Mix it all together and divide into an appropriate number of gallon ziplocks. Put the steaks into the bags for as long as you like. I have done from 5 minutes to 8 hours. This is best cooked on the grille and served medium rare in my opinion. Start the grille off on high heat, sear both side, and let cook on medium until done to your taste.

Haha well give it a try! I wound up grilling out just about every day after work last year, and this was what I came up with.

John Daly uses a small bit of Crown Royal. I have used a shot of Jack Daniels and have found that does add a little something to the meat especially with the brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
