I don't know why but I'm fascinated with snook. I think they are beautiful fish. I had a gentleman ask if I would do a replica for one he caught in POC. For never actually catching one I think it turned out ok.

You captured the colors very well! Bottom of the mouth front body in the pic looks a little flat, but it might just be the pic... Looks dang nice!

Love catching snook. Having grown up just minuets from the Lower Laguna Madre there was always the possibility of catching them but didn't land my first till 2005. From 2005 to 2013 I probably caught more snook than trout. I've caught them in really skinny water and in the surf. They are a blast to catch especially throwing a bone colored Zara Spook Jr on calm mornings like the one in my picture. Hate that I don't have them in my backyard anymore and sold my kayak to chase them.
