NM Pronghorn Success

I got the opportunity to go hunt pronghorn antelope last week.
We were between Clayton and Raton. For some reason, the antelope were not as plentiful as in years past. Only 2 of 8 guys were able to connect.

I had to crawl several yards to get a shot. Finally was able to get a shot at 384 yards. Not a giant, but it was a great challenge and great memory.

Congrats! Nice speed goat! We are leaving tomorrow for NM. Our outfitter said it has been tough. Goats are spooky as all get out.

Congratulations on the NM speed goat. We always see a bunch of them out that way when driving to Colorado, although not that many this summer. 384 yards is a heck of a shot!
