    How to lose a deer

You'll hear me in real time on camera thinking the shot was perfect. Obviously it was not.

You'll see at the last moment the doe takes a step causing it to be more quartering-to. Also the camera is to my right so it looked a little better from my perspective.

We never found a drop of blood. The arrow was pink-ish at best.

The arrow went low and right under her paunch. Way back.

That step she took didn't help!

Too bad you didn't find her. The shot looked pretty far back when you slowed it down. Go get another one!

I'm sure she died. Never found her. No blood trail for dogs to follow. First deer I've ever lost. I take full responsibility for the bad shot placement.

Ive lost 3 and they are all heart breaking. Hands down the best remedy is putting a good shot on another critter.

Better not to lose any, but better for the hunter's psyche for it to be a doe.

                      Liver or guts.

Looks like you never settled the pin or got anchored.
Sorry for your loss. Gain experience from it.

                        What's the difference?

Sorry, but that's as bad as the hunters in here saying 'its just a pig'.

I don't get the at least it's a doe comment. I don't think the target practice mentality is the right thing to have. Just my opinion. Hopefully that was meant different then it came across.
