The cat probably ran a total of 70 yards...just out of site after the video cam was stopped.
My buddy let the dogs go right after he stopped the camera and he said by the time the dogs caught up, the cat was ready for its first LDP!

After the shot I couldn't believe I just let an arrow fly on a real live mountain lion. I'm sure my jaw dropped and I just stood there until he said nock another arrow. My mind was running on adrenaline and it happened so fast that watching the video actually brings in some details that I never noticed until now.
