    Need camera advice

Can someone recommend a inexpensive camera I can use to video deer and study age, antler growth, out to couple hundred yards? The less expensive and simpler the better. Thanks in advance.

Maybe the Nikon D3500 camera and two lens kit. Should be around $400.00

Or Canon Rebel T6 about the same price, same lens options

Canon has Wifi, but Nikon has higher ISO ability, so better in darker situations.

But a couple hundred yards is a ways out for DSLR

Canon VIXIA HF R800 3.28MP Full HD Camcorder if video only. $200.00 I think.

A tripod is going to be necessary the more you need to zoom in so you don't have camera shake. There are numerous clamps you can use that attach to fence posts or trees.

Hope this a good stating point.

    Good luck.

      What yaqui said.

even 100 yards out you're not going get the results you are thinking of even with lenses that cost more than a used car...

A digiscoping setup with your phone might be a better option if you have a spotting scope.

Nikon D3400 1572 and Canon EOS Rebel T6 Digital SLR could be some good quality options under $500. By the way, what's your budget? If it is less then you can also use your smartphone with a stick.
