    Portable camera stand

Last year I made some portable Camera stands out of PVC to allow for a portable set up in soybean fields. The stands worked, but being tall, they moved in the wind and gave me a lot of blank pics.

This year I made the Gen 2 model.

    1 Old traffic cone
    1 6v solar panel
    1 adjustable cam mount

A local traffic safety products place sold me the cone cheap, as they can’t use them on jobs if they are damaged or the reflective tape isn’t good.

Everything else was parts I had laying around.

I think it is gonna work good, but for version G2.1 I think I will mount an electrical junction box to hold the battery. Right now the battery is sitting on the ground and the cone covers it. Mounting the battery will make it “grab and go”.

That works. You should be able to find it as well. Every year I loose a camera for a while until I remember where I put it.

          Cool

I made some screw in mounts like that last year . By far the best mount. Quick, easy and less than 5 bucks

why not just change out the eye bolt for a lag screw eye bolt and not worry about jail time?
