When do you plant this and how labor intensive is it

I tried just spraying with gly and planting with a spreader but didn’t like the results. So last year I sprayed gly in late August then tilled and planted with a spreader in mid October with good results.
This year I sprayed with gly in late August and plan to plant with a grain drill in mid October.

We are closer to Albany in the mesquite country. This is the blend we plant. I think most of what comes up year in/ year out is the wheat seed.

In wet years - all kinds of stuff including the turnips come up.
