Welcome to your new addiction, that rush after taking that doe with your bow is what will keep you coming back for more. I didn’t take anything with my bow last year but I got a cull buck with my rifle during the rut. I know the frustration from not taking a deer with your bow but I enjoy watching them more now that I’m older than killing them. Now if the right buck steps out don’t get me wrong I will try to drop him, but it’s the excitement as well from being so close to them that they don’t even know your there. Congrats on your kill.
