    Hard to let go

Had to put the family Collie down

    She was 15 years old

She was in a lot of pain. I cringed every time she got up and down on the floor she finally gave up and could not get up

Funny how much joy a dog can bring into your life

Showing mercy is the right thing to do

At least that’s what I keep telling myself

Mine is 14 1/2. So sorry. I am so going miss her. I can understand your sense of loss. She is my constant companion around the house.

Very hard to do but definitely the right thing if she was in pain.

I’ve felt that pain and it’s tough. Wishing you all the best. I’ve got a miniature Australian Shepherd at my side 24/7 and she helps our family having to deal with the loss of our rescue terrier we had to put down recently. Prayers sent.

Humans truly don't deserve dogs, as we are so lucky to have them in our lives

Hardest thing I've ever had to do--twice.
