I haven't had any problems with my Taurus TCP.
Probably the cheapest one available as well.

I have a Sig 230 I bought in the early 90's, never had a misfire and it's great to shoot

I have the new S&W bodyguard 380 in semi-auto. It is accurate and functions well. Only thing I don't like about it is the stiffness of all the moving parts. After using it for a while nothing seems to have gotten any easier to operate.
