    Boat carpet

Wondering if anyone is in the boat carpet industry. I have an 18 ft aluminum tracker I'm looking to get recarpeted and trying to see if it would be worth having it done or doing it myself would be better.

Doing it yourself will be much cheaper. It is also a tremendous pain in the butt. I did my bass boat a few years ago. Next time the carpet needs replacing....I’m ripping it out and rolling in Kiwi Grip...

You might want to look into an alternative. I have snap in carpet in my mastercraft and I am going away from it. Looking at Seadek and Decadance. I think for a fishing boat you might want to look at the the decadance.

SeaDek's PV/EVA foam boat flooring blend is designed to be comfortable. Our products offer safe, non-slip alternatives to other marine traction products.

either of these have less maintenance.
