It's on, 35 ft up in the game tamer. But as usual, looks like someone took my camera card and sabotaged my feeder. Hey at least they didn't steal them. Good news is, I put up a trace can with no delay 20ft up in a tree directly behind this camera and shooting feeder, for just such an occasion!! Pics to follow after this morning hunt. Here is the amazing view.

Locals don't like foreigners coming up and shooting "their" deer. But hey, I used to hunt everywhere I wanted when I was a kid, but that was back in the late 70's and early 80's. Those days are way gone.

But have some weather coming in, had a 20" wide very mature 9 point at 15 yrds, but he wasn't heavy and I didn't come up here to shoot 140" deer.

I will be in a stand (hopefully) a week from today just north of Nickelson, about half way between Stafford and Hutch.

Just got back from Unit 12 . . . Warm days were not very productive. Had one decent 8 walk right under me 10 minutes before shooting light. Good luck!
