It does read and transfer vids, too.

Stealth Cam came out with this nifty little SD card reader that connects directly to your iPhone or iPad. Reads micro ad cards as well and also connects to your laptop via USB.

You download this app called i-Easydrive, connect reader to device and start browsing your trail cam pics. You can copy and save to your iPhone as well as delete pics.

Really handy for around $20.

I went to the apple store and bought the apple version of this for my ipad. It makes viewing pics so much easier. I have never used it for my phone but I am sure it would work. Cost me $30 at the apple store. I just throw my Ipad in the front box of the 4 wheeler and view pics while I am by my camera , store pics on my pad and then put the same card back in my camera.

I bought a BONEVIEW off amazon and you down load a APP (free) with it and its very user friendly and works well. Good for going in and looking while hunting etc.

Anybody know if this works with a phone cover (life proof)? I need something like this. I have the apple one and it sucks. Got to download to the phone first and sometimes it warps my pics.

That was the benefit of the BONEVIEW it come with an adapter to allow access with all covers.

I'm not sure about life proof. My guess is no. I have case on mine not life proof but not real bulky either and I had to remove the case from the bottom to get it to work.

I got one from Academy last week.... Works great. The guy at Academy also told me they have a store brand that is cheaper that works well also.
