Default Hey Jarheads, better be proud today.

The first landing of Iowa Jima was on February 19, 1945. The beginning of 5 weeks of hell to take over a volcano island with three airstrips. God bless Uncle Sam's Misguided Children.

Same here. You can't understand what kind of shooting gallery those guys were standing in until you stand up there and look out over the beach and the island.

Absolutely. Hard to imagine until you see it. The tunnels were amazing as well.
