    Septic system costs?

Anyone know what putting in a Septic system will cost in the Sam Rayburn area? around Brookeland or Pineland? Also anyone recommend anyone in that area to install one?

I had an aerobic one installed 3 years ago north of Lufkin for approximately $6500.00.

Some counties will only allow aerobic, I don’t like them at all and wouldn’t get one unless I had to.. my soil only allowed for aerobic..

7200 for aerobic in limestone first of last month. This is a system for 2200 sq ft with 3 baths and all permits. Every place we called required and asked what the system was going to handle

Who in the county can you call to see what type is allowed?

And thanks for the replies so far!

An on-site test will determine what type of system will be installed. Good soil that absorbs water well, will most likely be able to go with a traditional system (if allowed). If the ground has a hard time absorbing water, the aerobic system refines the poop a bit more before it goes back into the earth and requires electricity and maintenance a few times a year. I am building on a property I own in Harper soon and this is what I was told. Kerr county.
