Default Are retro hats making a come back?

I’m talking nylon fabric, adjustable SnapBack, mesh in the back, sits a little too high on your head retro hats. I love them. Need more. The type you can’t buy online, have to get from a vendor/buddy that owns a feed store. Anyone else notice these getting more & more popular?

I believe they are. My head shape won't sport it though. Got to roll with the lower profile hats

I have seen kids wearing them with a flat bill. Cactus Rope has one that most of the kids wear around here, and they all wear white frame Oakley sunglasses with them. And dont forget them fancy stitched britches tucked in their Ariat's. Lol

Didn't know I wasn't in style wearing them these last few. Always thought when people looked at me and laughed they were laughing at themselves thinking "they" weren't in style...

I wish semi round toe cowboy boots and make a comeback. These blankety-blank square toes suck. I will not wear them. They're for ground pounders.

I bought a pair of round toe ropers at tractor supply the other day. I never liked dingo boots when I was a kid and don't like todays version either.

I'm at the age I quit giving a crap about "in style". I'll just keep with the status quo and I'll be back in style in 5-6 years. It's just a never ending circle. I used to laugh at what kids wear these days. Then I saw a pic of myself from '88. Carry on..

Ground pounders, lol...……...I had the same mindset until I tried a pair and I can assure you I am no ground pounder. Been ranching and rodeoing all my life.

Once I wore a pair for a couple of weeks it is all I own know. Haven't touched any of my round toes in years. They are just much more comfortable on my feet. Now the sparkly jeans, the drug store cowboys can keep those.....

I was the same way until I ordered a pair of round toe Leddy's. Now the square toe sit in the closet and I'm thinking about selling them and getting another pair of Leddy's.

Amen i had to manage a group of square toed , sparkly jean,
Truckers cap wearing younger guys on a ranch.
I never understood the need for these guys to change into a fresh starched camouflage shirt twice a day.
Also drove me crazy hearing their Twitter whistle notifications all day and night

I just payed $50 on Etsy for a '88 Shimano hat. Mainly because that was the same exact hat I was wearing in some of the only pictures I have of me fishing with my dad when I was 5-6 years old.

I actually was wanting a new hat this past wk/end and happened to be in Rockport. Went through Tackle Town and out of like 9 bazillion hats in that place I could only find a couple that were a lower profile. I can't wear the high dome hats I look ridiculous in them. lol

Of the 50 plus years I've been wearing boots, the first 35 to 40 years were wearing round toes. When I first started seeing folks wearing square toes I thought they looked ridiculous. Then they started to grow on me a little. Then I tried a pair. I won't be going back to round toes. My feet are happier this way.

I to look ridiculous in a truckers cap
Same with dingo boots and sparkly jeans.
They have full length mirrors at the clothing store.

I am sure a clown suit is comfortable to wear but you look like a clown ;

This snap back is all I've ever known. And no flatbill for me. If I ever got a cap that the bill was to flat, I'd round it out to my liking. If I ever wore my hat backwards, it was because the sun was behind me. And to keep the sun off my neck. Shade from the bill don't do any good when the sun is behind ya. And the bill is out front.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kilt. Gotta go!

There's a BIG difference between the retro meshback-snapback hats of today compared to those of the 70s and 80's. The ones back then could cause an eclipse and you could hide your lunchbox in them they were so tall. The "I never thought they went out of style" folks must not have been around then and "seent" the true retro billboard versions....
