Saskatchewan Black Bear

Flew in to Saskatoon today and we drive up to the bear camp tomorrow. We are hunting with Bear Down Outfitters. Will take as many pictures as possible and hopefully some LDP's. Hoping to put a Solid broadhead to work! We will also be doing some pike fishing. They call them "jacks" up here. By the size of the baits we'll be using apparently they are not small!

Oh yeah!! Those pike are fighters, your in for a treat if you get one. Not exactly the best tasting though. Walleye on the other hand, tear em up brother, those eat real good. Oh yeah, good luck on the bear as well.

Made that trip several times. The pike fishing is just awesome but the walleye is your bread and butter, nothing like a a shore lunch with them. If it's your first experience with Bruins, they are hard to judge the size.
