That would be Mt Fuji, the highest peak in Japan. Its a monster, that is only a small piece of it poking through the clouds.

Oh man that is totally awesome!! I did Fuji in 1973... toughest thing I ever did!! Just imagine a 45 degree and more assent climbing on black beach sand!! From 8,000 up it's all cinders! I did it in August... Started at the train station at Gotemba! Congratulations on indeed a trip of a lifetime!! When I was there, it was 360 Yen/dollar... Used to be a cheap vacation... not so much now I guess...
