    Creating a new arrow setup... asking for input from the gurus.
    hoyt defiant turbo
    72lbs
    28" draw

    Victory RIPXV 300 spine @ 7.0 GPI
    cut to 28"
    Thinking blazer vanes
    100 grain tip
    qad tuna a nock @ 4 grains
    black eagle rampage renegade half out insert @ 58 grains

    If i am calculating correctly this should put me at a light 376 grains yet still hard hitting

    319.6 FPS
    .53 momentum
    85ftlbs KE

    guess im asking for the guys that build arrows every day are my calcs correct? if so where did i go wrong?

                i already have a mess of Solid legends ima use just because of warranty... i have yet to find if the standard broadhead will fit in this smaller diameter arrow tho but i guess goin to a 58 grain insert would give me the same result as a 125 grain broadhead

                    It’s pretty light but will be zippy. I’d look at the firenock half outs also.

                      Yes it is but hits plenty hard enough I went with the black eagle halfouts heard really good things with em tolerance/durability wise

                            Fly straight out to fifty and hit hard got an extra two inches of penetration when comparing to my previous setup that I’ve broken pig spines on
