Love Ranch

I hunted with Bobby Love of the Love Ranch two weeks ago. Took my son who hunted with a gun and I with a bow. My son was hunting sheep and I was looking for a blackbuck.

Bobby was an excellent host, very accomodating and willing to help. His ranch is not bowhunting only, but is bowhuntable and he has popups he can set up for you.

My son took a silver medal(ROE)Texas Dall and I did not get in range of a big blackbuck but did take a silver medal Catalina. We saw lots of big sheep, Aoudad, catalina, hog, fallow, sika, some axis, four horn, red stag, etc.

Prices are very reasonable and can include meals and lodging.

As long as you have an established herd and a CITES Permit through the USF&W, you can shoot them all day long.

The catalina was $400 and he has special youth pricing. Generally silver/gold medal sheep will run around $1000.00 meals and lodging included. Check with Bobby and he'll send you a complete price list via email.
