How to sell a photo?

Anybody out there know how I could go about selling a photo I took a few years ago? Never thought anything about until people I showed it to said I really need to see about selling it? But I don't have the first clue how do do it? I was gonna post it but would that be a bad idea to start spreading it around the Internet? Any advice would be appreciated.

You can go to http://www.fineartamerica.com and get a free account that will allow up to I believe 20 or 25 images with out paying the premium membership for unlimited photo uploads. Check them out.

If it is your photo, the Fine Art America site has a right click protection against copying the photo. They also add a watermark that only is seen to those viewing it, so that if someone tried to shoot a photo of it via cell phone, their watermark will be seen. You retain your rights etc.
