    Black & White attempt

Here's my first attempt at a B&W conversion. I used a Black & White adjustment layer in CS3. Fiddled with the color balance sliders and the opacity slider until I got a look I liked. Did a little bit of dodging and burning to get a little more contrast and then sharpened. Just messed with things until I figured I was done.

Needs a frame, but I haven't figured out how to create frames yet.

Here's the color "before" - a 3 exposure blend in HDR:

Here's the black & white version:

Any comments or help would be appreciated. Just trying to learn.

I like it, but it looks like it has a bluish tint to it. Of course it could be my computer screen.

I did intend to leave a tiny amount of the color in it. I have Photoshop on my laptop, and I forget that color appears a little less saturated on this screen. I probably did leave in more color than I realized. Thanks!

Here's a 2nd attempt. I wanted just enough color left that it would warm it up, but not enough that you notice any color. Is this it?
