    Where to eat in Cotulla?

I haven't been to town in a couple of years. This weekend we need a change of pace from cooking every night. Any recommendations? I guess there is always the Country Store.

Mexican restaurant on east side of 35, by all the new hotels. El Charro. Good food and decent prices. And dang good margaritas.

Is Garcia's still open? He used to have stew or chili during hunting season.

Once upon a time they had a fantastic place that cooked ribeye steaks. I think the owner moved or passed. Can't remember exactly but it closed down after that.

Back in the good ol' days, the Charity Party would go to Pepper's. Man, that was a great place to eat and unwind. Right, Larry?

That may have been the place I was thinking about. Great food back in the day.

Thanks for the replies. Peppers was good, particularly the pork tenderloin.

I think there's a place called LaSalle County Steakhouse right off 35 on the west side of the highway.
