    Alligator !

After planting my last food plot here at home, I parked my drag on the hill above my pond. Since I was pointed in that direction I just drove by my pier on the way to the house.

As I reached a point about 20’ from the water there was a big swirl in the water and I’m thinking large turtle, beaver, or Texas sized bullfrog. Imagine my surprise when this gator surfaced about 25/30’ from the bank. I think I said Holy Chit ! To my surprise, he (or she) is not real timid. Sucker hung out long enough for me to get lots of phone pics and video and was still visible when I took my wife to the pond after she got home a couple hours later.

I’m no judge of gator sizes, but this one looks to be 8/9’ long. Very cool to have your own dinosaur !

Not if you want to fish that pond, or swim, or provide water for calves.

Toss him some road kill or dead hogs and keep him around. Good pet.

This, if you have a hog problem around that area, throw him a pig every week and see how Big he gets!

or get Low Fence to drop off a trailer load of Pigs
