I think that you are going to have to go outside of Netflix to find the movies listed.

Oh yeah, unless I missed it in scanning this thread, I am almost embarrassed to say that a forum full of Texans did not list The Alamo.... which is also not on Netflix.

Rooster Cogburn would be up there.

And if looking off of Netflix for a John Wayne movie where John Wayne does not play John Wayne, try Donovan’s Reef. A pretty good John Ford movie where Wayne is not a western or war hero and has an important but more laid back roll.

Man I'm shocked that you say that on a public forum.

                      God Bless

The man who shot Liberty Valance, & The Searchers. The way these 2 movies were filmed are incredible. I think John Ford directed both movies.

My wife hates them and I grew up thinking they were boring.my dad would watch one on vhs on a Saturday night as a kid. It was the only TV in the house and a privilege to get to stay up late and watch it and have snacks. As I got older I really started to appreciate them Now I really enjoy watching all of them and find myself up late occasionally with one on when the house is asleep.
I've never seen a bad one of his films
