    My last chance

Haven't hunted in a while. Went to the lease this morning and it was flooded out. I went to higher ground and posted up on these double hardwoods in this pic. It was all or nothing today. At daybreak, first thing I saw was a nice 8. He checked a scrape as I watched him. I sort of anticipated his path as he started walking. So, as he started walking, I ranged a beat down looking trail that I could see at 37 yards. I drew back and held solid until I could see him. I slammed him pretty good with the swhacker right over the spot I ranged. I heard him crash about 50 yards away. Gonna give it a little bit and start my track. ..fingers crossed.....
