School me on recurve bows

I'm wanting to buy one to play around with and hunt with next season, but I know nothing about them. What do y'all shoot?

Post this over in the trad section after you read the stickies in that forum! You'll get a lot of recommendations for the Samick Sage as a good starter bow, which I would echo. Just be sure to start yourself off at a comfortable draw weight to avoid building bad habits during the learning process!
