What am I missing here? AR stock & buffer spring.

Long story short, I messed my AR up. Putting it back together but the spring & pin that keep the buffer tube in place keep flying out. Is it just the buffer tube itself that needs to be screwed in a bit more so that the pin catches that lip on the buffer tube, or am I missing a piece?
