    Have not had any problem with them attacking the PIR but have had one ruin the plastic lens cover on a camera.

      Is this a common problem? We have 4 moultries and have had 0 problems with wood peckers.

        There's something about my cuddeback's round IR screen or whatever it is that they love. It's still taking pictures though so I haven't worried too much about it.

          They are a MAJOR problem on the Junco. I put out a Moultrie I40 brand new in August and they pecked the crud out of the white lens. It's still working, but I'm really starting to hate those things. Our Leaf Rivers almost all have been pecked, and Dog's pasture Cuddebacks are torn up.

            Lot's of woodpecker's at my place but I have never had this problem. I do attach my trail cameras to shortened tee post rather than trees.
