Made it today. Back and legs supersets and some giant sets. A little walk on the treadmill to get the blood moving, then three warmup sets and minimum 3 working sets 3x8-10.
A good gym day today. I was determined to get it all in this morning. Less recovery time, heavier weight, but less sets. My usual treadmill stroll followed by 3 warm up sets. Chest and biceps supersets. 3X6-8
Workout was interrupted by skunk issues. Dog killed a skunk and got back in the house before we knew it happened. That was 4 hours ago and I smell like I took a direct hit myself. Every thing I eat or drink taste like skunk. I'm not talking smell like roadkill skunk you pass on the highway. This is like our whole house was sprayed inside...HORRIBLE!!!
At the time I agreed. The wife did some deep cleaning and it back to normal. Just a hint of skunk smell on the dog's face. I'll take that over this last gout attack for sure. The last 2 weeks have been hell on my healthy lifestyle! I got a shot of steroids yesterday and kept me wide awake last night. Its working though! Hope to be hitting it again by Monday.
Ok, I read thru the whole thread and y'all shamed me into it. Again.
I actually started walking before Christmas trying to average 5 miles per day (4x per week). Goal is to lose 25 lbs and get back into running shape and maybe run a 1/2 marathon in 2019. The wife has lost quite a bit of weight so I feel compelled to make some kind of progress myself. Good luck gents!
Who’s got a garage gym? I’m slowly adding to mine I wouldn’t call it a gym but enough to get good workout.

Mine's not in the garage, and I'm not sure I'd call it a gym. I've got a bench, dumbbells, barbells and free weights, a pull up bar, physioball, and resistance bands in the house. Got a heavy bag on the patio and an elliptical (still not set up). It's all I need for what I'm trying to accomplish.
Edit: and a jump rope.

Nice, right now I’m working with 3 kettle bells, 2 slam balls, battle rope, Muay thai bag and pull up bar aka metal conduit with athletic tape. Looking to slowly add some DB’s and a bench, but can get pretty creative with what I’ve got.
This home build and now getting our current house ready to put on the market kicked my *** this week. I didnt make it to the gym one time. About to head out shortly for the punishment I deserve.
