    Juvenile?

I decided to lay off trying to get close to the owl yesterday evening.

My wife and I have a routine most evenings. We go for a ride down the private road where we live on our electric buggy. When we returned and were coming up our driveway we spotted three different owls ahead of us as they took to flight. It was almost dark. This one which I believe to be a youngster landed low in a tree that we were going to go by on our way to park the buggy. I decided what the heck. Shot manual, set ISO to 800, f5.6, 1/20, Image Stabilization on, hand held.

Nothing like hunting with a Pixel Pistol and pulling off a shot

Thanks fellas. The youngster just sat there with me pretty close by.

Rob along that note I'm going to put meat in the freezer then hunt with the lens this year unless Muy Grande shows.

Bill, that one definitely looks like a Juvi! Will be cool to get him in daylight when the light is good. The Owl Whisperer... I love it!!!
