    pressure washer

Saw this pressure washer at the front of a neighbors driveway with a Free sign on it. I stopped and looked at it, talked to the neighbor. "It has a small fuel leak and does not run too well. If you want it, it is yours". I looked at the bottom of the tank, and could see a split in the pot metal fuel shut off valve. I told him if he would buy the parts, I would fix it for him. Nope, I just bought a smaller electric one. You can have it.
Fuel shut off valve - $5.89. Drained stale gas from tank, cleaned it. Changed oil, replaced spark plug. Used it dang near straight for three days, no issues with it.
    Nice garbage find.

Agreed. Getting to a disposable society. I will keep eyes open and find more trash treasures. One TBH'er calls me the new Fred Sandford. I *think* it is a compliment.

            Thanks!
My son was not that thrilled - he got to be behind the wand quite a bit over the weekend!

I pick up old washers, dryers and refrigerators when i see them. I strip all the copper from them and sale them for scrap I usually make a couple hundred a month for a couple hours work.

My FIL just gave me a husky 3200PSI pressure washer. New carb and plugs $20 and she is good as new.

Thanks, all - our heavy trash day is Thursday. If not travelling, I will usually make a drive around Wednesday night and early Thursday morning to scour. Never know what you will find. KJ
