Just got word from my Police Department that Harvey Donation scams have already started. Be vigilant in giving donations over the phone or internet. ONLY DONATE to REPUTABLE SOURCES

These kinds of thieves should be treated the same way as looters. What kind of scum takes advantage of distressed people like that? I can only imagine all the upcoming Craigslist scams involving campers, boats etc.

the BBB is already receiving complaints of "shady contractors" in town who are preying on victims and offering to fix their flood damage houses. These people make me sick

Personally , I would NOT donate any money to GoFundMe accounts. To many shysters out there looking to make a quick buck.
