Cleaning Rack Mod

We decided to extend the cleaning station. Since it's going to be there a while I decided to try to make a gambrel that would not swing or twist while working an animal. Came up with this. There is going to be tin over it eventually so I was limited in height. The pivot arm seams to work well, although I haven't tried and animal on it yet.

That is pretty cool. For the price of 1 pulley you could have achieved the same thing and got closer to 2:1 purchase on hoisting.

(can't find a picture. Weld the block to the top of the gambrel n a fixed position. Then run your line through the block back up to the support bar. Give yourself enough of a triangle so the line doesn't want to twist... which it won't usually do so under load.)
